UPS and FSC
The Bear Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Fail Safe Controller (FSC) are the core components of the Bear Fail Safe System. During a power failure, the Bear UPS supplies 25 amps of continuous current, while the FSC monitors the health of the RTU and both the main and backup power sources. Upon detecting a failure, the FSC automatically moves up to nine DC electric actuators to the safe position.
