GMCI Hawk Vent Flow Meter

The GMCI Hawk Vent Flow Meter is designed to accurately measure extremely low pressure gas flow rates. Surface casing vent flow, pneumatic instrumentation, compressor seals, and virtually any other source of low-rate gas venting may be measured. The Hawk uses a positive displacement diaphragm meter and industry standard flow measurement algorithms to measure gas flow while compensating for pressure and temperature variation. Flow rates as low as 0.5 scf/d may be measured with accuracies greater than +/- 2%.

The Hawk uses dedicated software to compute measurement results using AGA7 & AGA8 gas equations, generating a PDF report showing the gas flow trends and total flow. The Hawk meter is trusted by producers and oil and gas Regulators alike for reporting and auditing of emissions rates.

GMCI Turbine Flow Meter

GMCI also offers a suite of turbine flow meters which may be configured to measure from 10’s of m3/d of gas up to over 20,000 e3m3/d. These turbines can be used to measure methane, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, compressed air. Sample ports enable operator to easily determine exactly what is in the measured gas stream, which is key in quantifying emissions of CO2 and CH4.

All GMCI Hawk flow meters are intrinsically safe and certified for use in Class II, II, and III, Division 1 locations. This allows the Hawk to be operated directly beside a wellhead or in an enclosed building. Please contact sales for a quote. Available for rent or for purchase
